The artwork of this series is lovely and the story draws you in from the beginning. I wish the characters had a bit more depth and that the series didn't feel so rushed. But, there is a beginning and end, which is far better than the artists that quit series after far more volumes than 6 and drop it on hiatus, never to be completed.

When I first read this vol a long time ago I thought it was amazingly cute. Recently I read it all online(now I'm waiting for the books to be sent to my house) the ending was not what I excepted from such a manga. It had me in tears. I reconmend this mostly to young girls(unless your older like me and like "fluffy" manga). This manga may be a bit cliche, but I like it all the same.
It's really my first time to review a manga and strange enough... I'm the first to review this AWESOME manga! Merleawe, the main character, wants to become a great wizard. But this determined little wizard student gets mistaken for the HEAD wizard of the kingdom who had been missing. Now she has to be someone she never ever knew! This manga has an interesting and mysterious storyline and very "kawaii"(cute) graphics!!!!! As soon as I saw a preview of it in an anime mag i thought --- I MUST HAVE IT!!!!
I found myself loving this manga for the depth of the characters. The main character, Merleawe, is thrust into impersonating the master wizard when she's merely a beginning student who can hardly handle basic spells. This first volume follows her as she is first overwhelmed, then resentful, but finally determined to do her best so that she can protect those around her. Although she lacks in magical skill, her attitude of heartfelt compassion and care for those around her allow her to pull off the impersonation. It's a fun and touching story. I'm looking forward to collecting more in the series.
I really liked this seller. I like buying old library books when the book are already out of print. If I can't support the company and author, at least I can support the library system, right? I bought this along with Magical X Miracle Vol. 3 and they both came together in this sort of compacted plastic bubble wrap thing. It got here in about a week or less. This seller is excellent with fair prices! I would definitely buy from them again!
